Exercise

So finally after weeks of saying I was going to do it I got around to the exercise...

Well, sit ups and using a pull up bar to hang off and do leg raises and other things aimed at my stomach.

To make it clear I'm not fat or even remotely overweight (probably closer to slightly under really) as i'm about 6'1" and bang on 12st which is pretty decent whatever sex you are but my stomach is the only place that doesn't really get a proper work out. I walk to and from work each day which is about 7 miles (10k) in total and I do some sports coaching so the rest of me is pretty good. Hell I can wear a pair of leather trousers donated by a friend that are 10/12's (uk size) and I don't spill out over the top or anything BUT....

I want to do 2 things:

1) get my belly button pierced...i just fancy it so no extra flesh wanted there

2) get a tattoo running up the inside of my left hip bone...probably a vine or something so again i want no excess flesh.

Hence sit ups etc...but to day I started them so I feel virtuous and I figure 20 sit ups, 10 dangling leg raises (from straight down to horizintal and then lowered slowly down again) + 10 of those things where you lie on your back and then raise your legs about 6 inches from the floor and hold them for 5 seconds before lowering them is a start. I could certainly feel it at the time. So..yay for exercise?
